I am starting afresh. I had about 20 last year, I ate and gave out . And when I moved towards end of year I had no where to keep them so I gave out the remaining. Now I have space and I have just bought 6 kienyeji, I hope to grow to above 50 by end of year.

??.. Wewe @Quigee , this time around do not get tempted to eat them. Some of us has gone through that path.. Wageni wakule chapati na mboga.. We are cheering you all the way till you get to 50 mark and it is great you have already started.

I have around 52 (6 jogoos and 42 hens) 7 of them are now laying eggs so far have about 70+ eggs which will be hatching in a couple of weeks but the workman steals and sells out. Food seems too expensive

@MAPENI, you are doing well. sorry to hear about your bad Workman. Sometimes they are the greatest predators. Mine used to sell half a tray of eggs a day. and good ratios there of Jogoos to hens.
