Poultry feeds

The major problem facing Kenyan poultry farmers is high cost of feeds and the majority available in the market is of substandard quality. Is there a regulatory body that ensures poultry feeds are manufactured within acceptable formulation level and sold to farmers at fairly prices? I also encourage farmers to share farming skills through this site because some farmers have opted to make own feeds to reduce on expenses but this requires adequate knowledge.

Why is it that almost African poultry farmers were complain the high cost poultry feed, is killing the industry, I think the government of the day are not support the industry but rather increase taxes on the poultry commodities and they themselves importing the frozen chicken outside with a very cheap prices in order increase the high rate of decease in Africa as whole. Why we should stand up and fight against all these things and enable the Africans men and women producing their own mate and create employment for ourselves thank you.
