Farming for our firms

The economy fully rolls on enterprenuership and allot firms are coming where many agricultural products are directly linked to them for value addition. Most fruits go to firms, Vegetables, nuts, cereals all move for value addition.
To me, until we produce not only for consumption but for our firms for value addition we shall still be losing to middle men and for westage for things like fruits.
Imagine. A mother selling avocados in a market place at a cost of 10/= each, she has just carried 50 PC's hoping to get 500/=. By the end of the day she has managed to sell 28@10=280 and given 2 away freely. She is stranded with the 20 Pcs and decides to honestly trust a fellow woman to sell the avocados tomorrow. The second woman takes and promises to give her money tomorrow. She then goes home and prepares a natural avocado juice each avocado gives her 1litre of pure natural juice which she sells and 50/= per litre she gets 1k from 20avocados. These happens because of the first woman had no knowledge of blenders and freezer's.
Untill we educate our farmers to grow for our firms our income will still be limited.

This is true farmers incur post harvest loses due to inadequate market survey prior to planting to identify the best time to plant a specific crop. In that line farmers need to add value to their products like the example illustrated above to reduce the post harvest losses.
