I am practising organic farming, what do you use to kill the pests that eat the vegetable leaves?
@Alfred Opiyo , @Ann - What is your advice for @julielabatts on this?I am practising organic farming, what do you use to kill the pests that eat the vegetable leaves?
For organic farming it's advised to use integrated pest management (IPM) which is a combination of cultural, physical, mechanical, biological and chemical methods to combat insects pests where these chemicals are highly recommended to be biopesticides and/or botanically made pesticides. These mechanism include crop rotation to break life cycle of a particular pest which affect only a given crop, mechanically by mowing, ploughing or destruction of host crop, physically by doing frequent scouting and kill/destroy pests, their eggs ,larval or pupal stage. Biopesticides , botanical pesticides like:-I am practising organic farming, what do you use to kill the pests that eat the vegetable leaves?
