Chickens low egg prices?

The same here, in Malindi. I don't know how they get out of their expenses, if they do it in a proper way. I think they go more for quantity then quality. It is a hard job, to convince people to go for quality instead cheap products.
I am very curious also if somebody has an idea on how to solve this problem.

Hi am not really sure of this but in any profitable venture one has to lower on expeses. Chicken feed in my opinon covers the highest % why not research on making ones feeds without compromising on quality of the feeds. Just a thought

You can get good margins by doing your on poultry feed and also farmers can group and buy feed resource in bulk and doing feed formulation as a group. This system ensures you enjoy economies of scale. Buying feed direct from feed companies will never give you good profit margin.

I would love to make my own chicken feeds and I did do some research already.
I just like to find a good chart for the consistency of chick, growers, and layers mash. Any idea where I can find this ?
