Are we striving to learn and adopting the secrets of successful agribusiness?

I strongly believed that technologies and innovations are powerful drivers to revolutionizing agriculture in Africa. However, Africa must learn the secret of successful agribusiness nations and adopt these lessons into African agriculture. And in all of these, the place of building the capacity of the farmers, adequate information sharing, maximizing the potentials of big data to driven agriculture, as well as knowledge dissemination are key to successful agribusiness operations in Africa. Thanks to eLengo for driving us towards this direction.

For sure technology will revolutionize agriculture but as they say systems are as good as the users. It will be sad to have free technology systems and platform such as this one and we do not adopt them and utilize them, then nothing will save us. I guess we are all in agreement that the government extension system has failed.

Israel is much smaller than most African countries and her soil not fertile as for most African soil. Why such a small nation is feeding the world? it is because of applied modern technology systems and government extension services that are working 24/7. Analyse your area and you will realize that most people who have inadequate food throughout the year are the owners of 1 - 6 acres of land yet the soil in their land can sustain several agricultural activities. What is the problem here??
